Each season offers us a more than ample amount of fruit needed to obtain the best results in the production of our jams. For centuries the preserving of fruit ensured their availability, stored in our larder, all through the year.
We select fruit that is firm and just ripe, without blemishes and bruises. We add just enough sugar in order to sweeten and set our jams – it is our natural preservative. Our recipes are suited to small quantities and a slow cooking procedure which enhances the flavours and maintains a rich colour.
Imagine eating dollops of fresh cherry or strawberry jam on hot toast in the middle of winter or orange marmalade on fresh crusty bread at the summer breakfast table.
